OVERVIEW
Natural Gas Reticulation; Gas Flow Modelling
The GASWorkS software is widely used in the natural gas reticulation industries for the design of industrial and domestic supply networks. Provides Windows based steady-state network modeling tools.
It is designed to assist the engineering professional analyze and design distribution, gathering, transmission, and plant piping systems containing natural gas or other compressible fluids.
Support is provided for systems made up of fittings, compressors, pipes, regulators, valves, and wells.
A robust set of import and export routines allow data exchange with a variety of CAD, GIS, and Database applications.
GASWorks offers no fewer than 20 different pipe flow equations.
Models gas flows in pipe networks

» Design natural gas reticulation systems of city gas, cross country, industrial, commercial etc
» User-choice of gas equations, more than 20 equations are available like, Panhandle, Weymouth, Colebrook, etc.
» Simulate regulators, compressors, valves, wells and other equipment.
GASCalc is a Windows based suite of tools designed to calculate various parameters associated with gas piping and equipment.
It can be used to calculate compressibility, sonic velocity, and other gas properties, orifice, diaphragm, rotary, turbine, and cone meter sizing, pipe size, flow, and stress values, regulator, relief, and valve sizing, compressor and well flow values, vent time calculation, dimensional and energy conversions, lost gas volumes, external loading values, numerous other pressure, flow, and stress related values.
It supports a variety of dimensional units and can be used with multiple unit measurement systems.
